JLL wins three awards in 2020 API Excellence in Property Awards

JLL awarded the Workplace Diversity and Culture Award, recognised in the Women in Property category and named for the prestigious Colonel Alfred Clifford Catt Award.

AUSTRALIA, 2 NOVEMBER 2020 - JLL Australia has received three prestigious awards at the 2020 Australian Property Institute (API) Excellence in Property Awards.

The annual API awards program is designed to recognise both individuals and organisations in the public and private sector who are leading the way in the property industry.

JLL’s Head of Valuation Advisory – Asia Pacific, John Talbot said, “The recognition for two leading members of JLL’s Valuation & Advisory team is a great honour for the entire team across Australia.

“Tyrone Hodge is a tireless advocate for valuation professionals and for our industry. His passion for property has spanned a 30 year career. He has served as National President of the API, NSW President and Chair, so it is fitting he was awarded the Colonel Alfred Clifford Catt Award which is named in honour of the first President of the organisation,” said Mr Talbot.

The Colonel Alfred Clifford Catt Award recognises contribution and commitment to the property profession and the community of the API.

Mr Talbot said, “Aleisha Brookes has more than 20 years of experience in property valuations with JLL and now leads our Valuation Advisory Quality Assurance Team, one of the pillars of JLL’s risk framework. Aleisha’s professional and dedicated work in the property industry is honoured by receiving the Lesley Bennett Women in Property Award, named after the API’s first female to join the organisation in 1962.

“The API awards are recognition of the outstanding work of our teams and what they deliver for our clients,” said Mr Talbot.
